You guys got me hooked. I'm addicted to yet another habit. Time to look for that 12 step
    program.
I've burned thru about 6 bags, mainly to familiarize myself with a mostly manual operating stove.

Woo hoo, I just found what I really wanted to buy 1st. choice. A 2003 England Stove Works model 25-PDVC/55-SPH10.
Already reconditioned one for my GF, that she bought under my nose.
Going to check it out tomorrow & purchase, if all checks out good.
I love to tinker and know how things work, so I'll probably get spoiled with a new slightly used one.

The last couple of weeks here in Cambridge, NY (NE of Albany on the VT border) we've had some chilly mornings and early evenings
so have run the Big E just an hour or so to take the chill off. Had 4 leftover bags of Independence(bagged by Potomac) and have just dumped in the last bag.

Picked up 16 bags of Bare Foot's to carry us over until our 6 ton order is delivered next Saturday. Dang, I think I've ventured into
    Pellet Pig territory :)

There is a 12 step program on here, unfortunately it just aids and abets your "problem".

You can apply for membership here: http://www.hearth.com/econtent/index.php/forums/viewthread/81207/

Some of us have tried taking up other hobbies and discover that those also lead to "issues" as well.

Less than half a bag so far. I thought I was going to light the wood stove first but it's not cold enough so a little pellet fire is better to get the chill out and faster to shut down when inside temps get just right. Wood would overheat the house and would have to open some windows so I'll wait a little longer on the firewood this year.

Other hobbies only absorb cash that could be used for pellets. Pellets is the only fix and the cure doesn't seem to hold. We always have relaps on a yearly basis. Spring is my worst must hunt pellets time. Fall only requires little 4 to 6 bag samples to fix the hurt! Starting to hurt so I am off to sniff around the stores to find some pain relief! :red:

That is one "issue" lack of funds to keep up the pellet habit, but on the bright side for another hobby if you pick a good one say making brews you just might not care as much ;-).

Just put bag #2 in this morning. We have only been running the stove for a couple
of hours here and there to get the chill out of the house.

I tried to burn about a week ago, but the auger on my P68 won't turn... I have the service guy coming out on Wed. Hope it gets resolved then - supposed to get cold this week.

Been burning, thermostat knows when. Really don't mind burning pellets, hate burning oil.

Been burning a couple of weeks off and on..used up about 5-6 bags...cleaned the stove about 4 times..love to clean it..I've polished the outside twice and the nickle trim once...love the color of this Thelin...the cleaning time is short..about 10 minutes..the Clevas vacuum works well...got it for $80 at Northern Tool. Snow is coming this week...might have to turn the stove up to medium..lol..

Good to hear. Maybe they are doing something different. Mine burned good, Just a little funny smell. Lowes has some. I might get a few bags with a gift card I recieved. Thanks! No Stove Chow and few Greene Teams. Lots and Lots of the NA though.

I went by HD today after work, and they had 2 tons left of the Old Dominion pellets with some broken bags in them. I might go make an offer for the remaining bags....the ones I bought to test burned VERY well in the stove. Very little fines in the bags, nice smell, seemed to be low ash level too.

Been burning for a couple of weeks now in the evening. Have been turning it off before going to bed or it gets too hot even 20 ft away in the bedroom. 37 degrees out when I got up this morning. :-S
