No more orange cupcakes :( .....for now.

I'll put both my stoves on the curb for free if someone doesn't buy that company and reopen within a year. Probably far sooner.

I haven't ate a Twinkie in thirty years.

If that is true for most people, it would explain why they are going out of business.

Most bread companies just about went belly up when the Atkins diet got popular. Most Doctors tell ya the whiter the bread the sooner your dead. And they are ontop of that list. Makes my teeth hurt just thinking of them.

Hostess if liquidating because of an employee strike that impacted their output and apparently they can;t recoup. I saw twinkies, cupcakes and sno-balls yesterday at the local convenience store. I almost caved an bought Twinkies for old time's sake, but then decided I didn't need either the sugar or the fat!

They had been having problems for at least the last 10 years, it isn't likely there is anything there to make it worth buying and it isn't all that fast getting things through bankruptcy court.

Doesn't seem like it could be from lack of sales. I see plenty of twinkie eaters in my parts.

Seems like there'd be way to big a demand for those American classics to stay away for long.

I wish Necco went out instead.

OMV, you may wanna get a few extra bags, just to be on the safe side.

    Your stove burns twinkies?

What's the btu output of a twinkie? Do you shred them or stuff them in whole?

None of those trebio bags has fines in them. Not a SINGLE one. Cleanest pellets I have ever burned. That was a no brainer man. You know where I'll be looking on Superbowl weekend :)

Maybe Little Debbie will start making a Twinkie knockoff, if they don't already. I haven't bought Hostess snacks in years because Little Debbie snacks are so much cheaper.

Haven't had a Twinkie since my days of being in the 420 (stoners) club in High School.
Some how a Chocolate Twinkie (Think they were called Chocodile's) were perfect after smoking some wacky weed.

Gave both up 30 years ago. Can't say I miss 'em.

Of course now that the State of Taxachusetts has legalized pot I think Hostess may have pulled the plug too soon.
I can see big up-tick in baked goods sales after the first of the year. (Medical pot legal after Jan 1,2013)

    Just my $.02-1/2
