Even worse could it be cheap ducting? Hey if it's good enough for my drier, why not my stove? I found a snowflame with a 6" magic heat. Stove wasnt heating. Full of ash of course.

I'd certainly hope so, that is a lot of extra rtv sealing work and only an expert installer would be able to successfully do the job.
