Hi all just wondering if anyone knows why heatilator doesn't want you to burn other fuels in their stoves particularly cherry pits any input would be helpful thanks all

A guess on my part but the cab50 is purely an economical choice stove (no bells and whistles, very basic), adding other fuels to the list I bet would raise the cost, such as troubleshooting and warrantying stoves that burn multiple fuels, getting UL listing for multiple fuels, etc. for cheap anything alot of it comes down to KISS IMO.
