How is that tractor working out for you? I thought we would see more pics of it in action. It did feel good just to hang out and do nothing, maybe Cranberry Lake the next time we head out.

I finished off a pretty big section of land around my land. It is actually my parents land but they did not mind that I cleaned it up a bit. ;) The tractor did an incredible amount of work for me. Digging up and pulling stumps, moving rocks, logs, any wood I could burn, etc. Then the bucket did a pretty nice job of leveling off. Then I used my fathers older Ford Powermaster and his york rake to get it leveled off pretty well. The grass was planted and has come in really nice. I need to get some pictures and post them. I will take a shot of the area that I posted the tractor sitting where it was pulling that stump when I first got it. Quite a difference. I have not been up to Cranberry in a while. At least 6 months I guess. We are heading up that way the first week of August to do some 12 oz. curls with a few friends. I can't wait.

we're kicking around a two day trip Watkins Glen next week........still have to hash out the details. Is it worth the three hour drive?
  7. Gasifier Minister of Fire

Yes. We did. I was on my way out the door for a run. I went out the garage door and heard the thunder, then saw the lightning, and turned around and went back in the house. Then went running several hours later. The thunder was very loud several times. Then came the rain. It rained very hard for a while, then it was all gone. I was glad we got the rain. We need it. I hope, for the farmers sake, that we get some more rain. It has been too dry.

Scotty. I have lived in N.Y. state most of my life. I have never been to Watkins Glen. There are a lot of places in N.Y. state that I need to take the time and see. I need to find two things. More time and more money. <>

If we go next week, we will post some pics for you guys. My kids were up there with the inlaws last summer and they absolutely loved it! All the waterfalls and wading ponds, beautiful wine country around the fingerlakes, I'm kinda looking forward to it too!
