Tonight when I get home I'll be bringing plenty of wood inside to feed the furnace without having to tromp through the snow and dig under tarps for dry wood. My wife did her part by picking up Saranac's "12 Beers of Winter" yesterday. It's going to be a good weekend ;)

Just a day or so - they said we were gonna get any of it, but they've changed their tune. We are expecting about 6-8. I hear folks closer to the coast could get 12 +

I have to travel for work on Sunday - so I hope it's done by 3!

Am leaving work now to go home and stock the interior pile, nothing like a nice nor'easter to brighten up a wood burner's day!!

I have a wood ring in the garage that I keep full for weekends like this. I have to walk right past a case of craft brews to get to it. Coincidence? I think not.

    Happy Holidays everyone!

I'll be on LI for Xmass Fod01. Where exactly is that wood ring? I promise I'll ignore the brews

You know, one of those metal rings you see on everyone's porch full of wood. Perhaps that's not the proper term..

Saying 8-12" here. The more the better I feel. Those Saranacs sound good, but if Im not going to the store all weekend, a 12er might not cut it. I think I'll go with the 4 cold ones per inch method and see what happens. Stay warm all.

You have that cool bar Mrs Rileys too. Well, its cool except for all the Red Sox crap in Yankee territory. The Belgian River Horse is great. We'd get along just fine. Down here you need the Flying Fish Double Expresso Porter.

Sorry - sometimes I don't read all the words...
Actually, its a mixed case of Kirkland beer from Costco. Someone at work recommended it. Not bad for the $$. There's a 6pack each of pale ale, german lager, amber and Hefeweizen all from New York brewery.

You'll have to get past my guard dog first. Her name is Molly.

Easy with the Red Sox crap.......

The bar logger is talking about is indeed cool-I'm unaffiliated when it comes to baseball-never liked it much. If you're talking football or hockey its Giants and Devils all the way, but enough hi-jacking my own thread...lol The latest is that it'll be starting at 6 AM up here in the northwest. I'll be ready.

One of the local stations in MA is now calling for 6 to 12 in the Worcester area! Looks like a possible late night quad ride!
