#1&2 Cherry, 3&4 Maple, most likely Hard(sugar) But it maybe silver as well(not a great photo). And photo three is a great example of "spalting"

I can tell you that the top two splits burn very well. I am getting a very hot fire (600 stove top) with minimal air.
 
The first two have a sweet smell to them.
 
Cherry and I believe silver maple.
 
Cherry and Maple, can't tell if it is Silver or what but definitely those two woods. Pretty wild looking pattern in that one split!
