Wood ID, please thanks

Got this from a scrounge last weekend, hard and heavy wood, with a bright yellow inside. When I was bucking it down the chips from the saw were a pile of yellow like a pencil.

Mulberry because of the yellow, but I don't remember it being stringy or tough to split.
