i have a 25 year old wood insert with solid metal doors and im wondering if i can replace them with doors that have glass.
does anyone know someone who has done it? Is it safe? Or am i wasting my time?

MODEL: Heat - trol
Airtight insert
model number AR-34
FJR industries

Probably a waste of time. Even if you could find something that would fit, without an airwash system the glass would get dirty quickly and stay that way.
