    New install? Why do you think you need an additive? Open system, closed system?

    Yes, it's a new install and a closed system. I'm used to installing government installations with chilled water and hot water systems in which each system uses a chemical pot feeder. Wasn't sure if additives are needed for scale, rust prevention.
