Wood pile "bookend"

I have always had problems with stacking firewood next to our fence, had to start at the gate and slowly "ramp up"
to the top of the stack. A few times the stack shifted and collapsed when getting wood. So i built this bookend thing.
I plan on adding a 2x4 top and bottom and screwing on some cedar pickets to match the fence. It works great!

Looks good. I use 7ft fence posts
 
I have a concrete driveway so i can't just drive stakes in the ground.
This has 3 feet that extend under the woodpile about 3 ft. I think it will look good with the cedar attached.
 
Like your drift boat in the background as well.

Yeah, couldn't be more fun. Have only done 2 river floats so far this year. Did 15 last summer.
Hopefully next weekend!
