I REALLY like seeing pics of classy stand-alone wood stoves. I really like the classy Parlor stoves, or any stove with lots of "character."

What strikes me, as I look thru about 60 or so of the stoves in that link provided:

1. The application is more interesting than most of the stoves
2. Many of the stoves shown, seem undersize for their surroundings
3. The "Esse" stove is more what I'm "into" as far as personal preference is concerned
4. There seem to be more of the contemporary designs shown, as opposed to older ones.
5. Ain't it amazing how the pets take a liking to the stove?!
6. Lots of folks like brick around their stoves
7. Some of the applications shown, scare me!! (The stove on the base that is elevated by four metal tube legs, for example)
