Hi -

I was at a historical event last weekend. We camp in canvas tents which are typically treated for fire resistance. Stoves are small, tend to be sheet metal, 3-4" vents.

Anyway my buddy brought a bag of pellets, reasoning that for $4 he might avoid some time in the cold hard rain. Well he was correct. He just used the little ash shovel and threw a couple scoops in once in a while and it burned hot and clean. We even teased that perhaps the 'pellets' where harvested from Three Mile Island since they burned a great deal better than the wet stuff the rest of us burned.

Sounds like it was some good thinking ahead.
