I have used GP firewood for a few years now to supplement what I split. (516-557-3769) His count is very good and it is all a mix of local hard woods. If you order by September you get a load of pretty dry wood, by this time of year he seems to have less dry wood, but instead of giving you all wet wood it will be mixed with about half seasoned and half still on the wet side which I think is pretty good for ordering wood this late in the year.

If you're not too far into Nassau. Older guy named Jim in Huntington station has the goods. You can probably find him on craigslist ... He's the one who will tell you to bring a moisture meter when you come check the wood.

I've heard of this guy named Jim but can never find him on Craigslist. Do you have his number?
