Well that sucks! It makes it even worse that the thieves took all of their wood instead of just some of it. I wonder if the thieves will feel even a little bit of remorse as they are loading their stove with someone elses wood. If I lived near by Id be bringing those folks some nice dry wood to help them get through.

I'm guessing that this wasn't someone who needed wood to heat their house this week, but someone who wanted to turn a couple of cords into cash.

This article prompted me to just order a couple of video cameras. One in front and one in back.

Yeah that could be. Makes it even worse!

Yeah I don't have a lot of wood but what I have I worked hard to split and stack ,I would be very upset. I feel bad for this family.

that really sucks. I just got a game camera to set out near the pile in back. saw some tracks, probably from kids, after the last snow storm. had some cabelas $$ so traded them for a camera with ir capability.

That's a lot of hard work that I'm sure the thieves have no idea about. When caught they should be treated like horse thieves in the old wild west. Dang it!

Makes me happy to live on a dead end road and even getting off that road to get to our wood is extremely difficult right now. We have helped some other folks who have had wood stolen though. Really grinds into you to know there are folks like that out there.

The dirtbag criminal mindset amazes me! Seems to me that it would be just as easy, maybe even easier, to cut your own wood.

There is nothing worse than a thief. I'm sure those responsible have no idea how hard all of us work on gathering firewood. Hope they get caught!! Dirty SOBs.

If they are caught they should be shot....

No - shot is to quick. They should be made to CSS 40 cord per dirt bag and dbl replace what they took and supply others with the rest.
