I really put this little splitter to the test today. I was spliting tamarack and eucalyptus both green and dry. I was trying to split chunks that where upto 24" diameter, yes it took me a couple of times to find the sweet spot but it split. It did split ponderosa pine with lots of knots. The wood I use is tough on everything and I was surpirsed it did this good, it really saved my back today :)
