I have a Question I am going to heat with a wood incert and a pellet stove in another room. The question I was thinking if I add a lot more humidity to the house it would feel warmer. does any one have any thoughts on this.

I keep a 2 quart copper tea kettle on top of my pellet stove and refill it daily.Sometimes I even add cinnamon to the water to make the house smell yummy.

good idea Jim

Best way to keep humidity levels up is to cure as many points of infiltration into house as possible. OAK for stoves is another area to look at.

Are you saying I should heat with oak and keep the house more air tight?
thanks jim
