In The Woods
Went back in this morning and cut up what was down on the ground which was Cherry,Small Sugar Maple and then fell the Cherry that was topped off.

Spent plenty of time cleaning up the area which you can see the brush in the background.

Picture 2935 is the cherry down with what I think is a sugar maple, 2936 is the topped off cherry after the drop, 2937 you can see a stick in the ground which I missed plus I used a wedge, 2938 is the stump (I have to get better), 2942 are the rounds after bucking it up with the 660 with the 18 inch bar,2946 is more rounds and 2952 is after splitting the cherry with the brush pile from the cleanup in the background.

Loon, working my way back with a dead standing that needs to come down in that area. Start hauling the wood out this week.

DexterDay, I'm getting the blowdown all along the hill on the way back which should include two more cherry, one ironwood and a good size beech plus open up a new trail along the edge of the hill. Most of the trail is clearing blowdown pine and basswood.
