In The Woods
Here are some pictures from start to what I have done, hope to have most if not all cut by the end of the day Monday.

I put the new 18 inch bar on the stihl 390, worked great.

looks like the 390 and smaller bar pick up a lot of speed.
 
That's looking better,
Fresh wood chips on top of the snow.
Round pile bigger than the log pile :)

Most of the wood is beech. 2nd most is hard maple with ash,cherry and some soft maple making up the rest.

I will run a 16in. on my 361 really a little short for most people but when your limbing it flat hauls. 390/361 saws are pretty close in a lot of ways. You go with 16 or 18 in.?

On the 310 I have been cutting with the 18 inch bar and the 390 most of the time the 20 but that changed after running the 18. The 16 comes for the ride in the bed of the rhino.
