Tell her zap says congrats, what position does she play?
Congrats to the ladies. I am thinking second base here.
She plays pitcher catcher, shortstop and first base...The championship game she was one first!
My youngest plays Sunday at 11 a.m. under 13 for the chamionship as well but they have lost one, so they have to beat them 2 time to win..She plays 2nd.
Oh And the Local and state police will escort the fire trucks into town here in about an hour and Hope we can repete Sunday for the yest of the Girls left in the hotels!
Smokin due you make the girls use wooden bats? ;-)
LOL we go to the batting cages alot and they have use some pretty bad aluminum bats that wood would have been better...lol
OH AND SHE HAD 2 Doubles and a triple tonight final score 6-10 they didn't get the final up...She batted 1000 in the STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME VERY PROUD!
Congratulations to the beautiful athletes! That has to give you and other parents much pleasure having the girls compete and win like that.
Jay, you must have a pretty wife to have offspring like that. lol
Thanks Dennis I hear that alot......
Up date for the 13 and under my youngest up to bat 10-11 bottom of the last inning bases loaded grounded out to the short-stop....Going to be a long off season she will play that hit in here mind over and over.....Look out for her next year!
Congratulations to both of them to even make it that far. Yes, unfortunately I was one the played my mistakes over in my mind too. I even remember back to some of those days in my old age, but I never made it to a state championship game! I wish I had some words of wisdom for her, but I'm sure you'll keep encouraging her. Nice job by both of them!
Too bad about the grounder - but not all of lifes lessons are "wins".
They should be very proud just getting to that stage.
Yep she is disappointed that it came down to her, but you can bet next time will be a little different....Her sister done the same thing 2 years earlier. My youngest is the most aggressive and works harder than my oldest...Look Out she will be a very strong player next year. (she is already wanting to hit the cages and she will keep going til the blisters pop about 20.00 bucks worth)
MY youngest 3rd from left
Smokin she put it in play and when you do that they start going through, ball is a game that if you go 1-3 thats good so there are times it's just not going through.
Yep thats the way it bounce on that one she is at church camp all week....That will get her over it. Bet the first thing she ask is to go hit the cage....lol she a tough 12 year old...
