these are culled from multiple sources, but I've never seen them all in one place before. The rhymes are very old. The list preceding the rhymes is from an old Boy Scouts manual, and it always pisses me off because is says that Douglas Fir is poor firewood. I don't know who wrote it, but they clearly don't know jack about firewood.
