I do most of my splitting in the spring when its cool, I was planning on doing some this weekend but the rain is putting a damper on that today, 40-50 degrees is perfect weather for cutting and splitting.
Nice stack of wood you have there.

I've split wood in 100+ degree weather. 'taint no fun, except for the gallon of iced tea to drink.

Looks great, KC! :)

KC, it's about time you got off the ski slopes and got busy with the wood. You also need to find something other than those tarps for covering. ;)

Nor did my 50 days of skiing. Only got 34 in this season. Just might have to head south of the equator this summer to do some skiing. It's only money, and NO I don't live in MD. Did not hit the Mega Millions.

There is no need to go south of the equator to ski. Timberline Lodge at Mount Hood in Oregon has skiing year round. I'm not joking. http://www.timberlinelodge.com/
