Done in the slow cooker....very easy.
Very good topped with blue cheese..the real stuff..
I omitted the butter in recipe. buffalo chicken.jpg sandwich.jpg
I added onions also to recipe.
Keep the C7H5BiO4 "handy"...if you use the "hot" wing sauce:ZZZ

Thanks, Gamma! This is one to try, hits all the right buttons...

Can't get a much simpler recipe. Sounds and looks good.

I thought of you pen...when I made it. I can freeze leftovers in small portions and use it to make homemade buffalo wing pizza.I know you make that.

I will have to give that one a try....It looks Great!

W/o that little addendum, woulda' been a little awkward.;em
I really like the idea of putting the leftovers on pizza. What a great idea.
Now, I have 2 new meals to try. I love this place. Wood and food. Ahhhh.==c

Yeah, maybe we ought to change the name from hearth.com to ood.com??? Altho, might infringe upon Dr. Who...

Going to give this a go tomorrow Gamma

Lamb chops for tonight.

Came out great gamma, used my own wing sauce. Only thing I'll do differently next time (because of the hours we work) is I'm putting the chicken in frozen. But there definitely will be a next time. Might even be a little less healthy and try skinless thighs. So damn simple and tasty. Wife and I would have liked a few blue cheese crumbles on it, but I saved the cash and just used the extra 1/2 package of ranch dressing and mixed with a little mayo and buttermilk to add to the sandwiches.

Here's the money shot

Thanks for the rotw!

Leftovers will become pizza!

This has been in the crockpot for about an hour, and the countdown to dinner has begun.
Just did the shredding (3:00), and will add the butter soon. This may need to be sampled well before it's time. The whole house smells like BBQ.:)
I altered the recipe by using Sweet Baby Ray's. Where's my bib, dang it.

Looks good Papa but did you spray the sides of the cooker with pam? If not next time do it...then no "sticking"...;)

Meat sauce for "Texas Hot" hotdogs

4 Lbs lean ground beef
1 Cup ground raw onion
2 tbsp crushed red pepper
2 tsp ground dry mustard
1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
1/2 tsp black pepper
5 tbsp salt
2 oz chili powder
3 quarts tomato sauce

Fry ground beef and ground onions slowly, mashing constantly
Add remaining ingredients and simmer about 3 hours.

Gamma, just tried this out tonite. It was great! Big hit with all. Thanks again for posting it. I think next time I will double the recipe as I have a 5qt slow cooker. Then I'll have more leftovers! Can't wait to try the pizza suggestion.
