Pros /cons - I was told they are the equivalent of the Oki's without the "fines" issue. Thoughts?? 369.00 for a 1.3 Pallet.

The best all-around pellet I burned this year, and that includes Okanagan, Cubex, and Spruce Pointe. Very low ash, very high heat, no gunk in the firepot. I just don't think they're $60/ton better than NEWP, or $50/ton better than Trebio or Canawick, and probably not $30/ton better than PWI.

Welcome to the Forums Cowdogz.... Whereabouts do you reside? (US, Canada, Europe, Etc?)

How long have you been burning? Got any pics of your Hearth/Stove? We love pics of new set-ups....

I am in Southern Maine. First season. This is a basement application in a ranch-style house, piped into a chimney, so no OAK. I have 1800 sq ft. upstairs and this thing cut my oil bill by over half. Burned 3.5 tons this year:

This is my 1st year with the pellet stove and I tried about 15 different kinds of pellets including Okies and most of the pellets mentions on these forums. In the end I went with LaCretes they were the hottest ones I tried very little ash and very easy clean up. No smell either. Unfortunately they were also the most expensive I tried. They are $289 for 65 bags and $30 for delivery. I will be getting them again this year. I loved them! They lasted quite a bit longer than most of the rest of the pellets. I wouldn't hesitate.

If I could pay $289 for 65 bags they would be the only thing I would burn. Unfortunately, they cost me $309/ton.
