Watch the SRECS promises. The value of those continue to drop as more enter the market, and the cost per kw drop with fuel costs.
 
Agreed.

But, Massachusetts has a ceiling and a floor for the credits. Currently each credit, 1 MW, has a ceiling of $550 this year and a floor of $170. The ceiling goes down by 0-6% per year. Talked to a couple of guys that got $500 each this year. Selling credits for $300/MW ave for a 6 MW system will yield $18k over 10 years. Maybe do better than that.

Other state and fed incentives, plus, of course, paying only a $4 electric bill for being hooked to the grid gets you to the break even point much quicker. I can't imagine the cost of burning mostly coal is going to decrease over the next 10 years.
