I am sensing a disturbance in the force...a picture opportunity has been missed!

I hope you enjoy your new stove, but I think you are jumping the gun a little on heat needs..;)

Are you saying I'm a Pyro Shadow & Flame? lol

That's funny you guy's... yeah...figured I'd get this thing started before fall comes on...so I can get warranty issues out of the way if need be. Speaking of wood...I do need to get some more lol

I thought I smelled wood smoke over here in Michigan :ZZZ;)

Pete

Tell me you're burning it outside?
Not around here you don't although our burn ban still allows us to grill with a lid! I am surprised!

The Michigan DNR currently is leaving open burn permits up to the local FD in our part of the state. Chief just shakes his head and says 'Umm, no.'

neumsky, nice stove. You've had it a whole day, and the only pic is the teeny tiny one as your avatar? Tsk, tsk.
We're waiting.
I'd probably do the same.....as soon as my wife left to visit friends. I'd never hear the end of it if she was home.
jeff, it's been so dry here, I won't burn outside no matter what. Too windy most days, anyway.

If you are able to successfully burn small fires when it's 99F outside I think we can officially say that:

a) you have great draft
b) your air conditioning is superb
c) you are a certifiable firebug. :p

Well Papa Dave...just tried to download 2 pics and it said my pictures are too large...so I don't know what to do next...any suggestions? Did my 2nd break in burn today...was not supposed to go past 300 degrees but it sat at 350 for about 45 minutes. hope that doesn't hurt it. Tomorrow not to exceed 400 degrees.

A simple method I use is to send an email to myself with the pics attached. It will ask what size you wish to send...just make it smaller.

That's interesting...cause I don't have any problems emailing pictures so I'm never asked what size.

Go to a picture and right click it. In the drop down menu there is a 'send to' option...go down to it and you will see another menu come up and you will want to click 'Mail recipient'. It should ask what size to make the picture.

Gosh I miss Okies. ;lol

Actually I'm a transplanted Ya sure you betchya kinda guy from Meenasnowta.
I've been here and married me an Okie 25 years ago...so I guess you could call me an Okie!

Ok...we have a Mac and they don't have right click on our mouse. I went to my pics and cropped them and it still didn't work. Back to the drawing board...I'll get some pics on here if I have to paint them on here! I thought that I could download them to my account.

Check the resolution. If it high, like 150 or 300dpi set it to 72 dpi.

Well had my 3rd and final break in burn at 0430 this morning....took it to 400 degrees...purred like a kitten...the secondary's kick in around 300 degree's. Begreen I'll check into that later. Thanx Jeff

You are officially nuts. lol. I just had my Oslo F500 installed last Thursday as well. It didn't even cross my mind to start a fire in it yet. Way too hot out! With that said I wont be sad for the cold weather to arrive so i can start burning!

Well ColdNH...haha...some people have said that about me. But if I have any warranty issues or if you do...which one of us is going to be ahead of the game? It is funny!
