Hey we'll get some of my green beans, some of your fresh picked taters, a couple of hams and hocks, and make us a big ol' firepit kettle of green beans taters and pork........

I just smoked a couple hocks last week. Saving them for exactly what you described.

Now did the TaterTots help dig 'em out? ;)

Yep, they sure did. I had my 2yo, 3yo, and 6yo grabbing them and loading the cart after I popped them out of the ground.

I let them dry out on the shelf in the garage for a day and took them to the basement last night. Ended up filling 3 milk crates full...not a bad haul for not having much rain.

I was thinking the same thing. Nice crop for the weather you've had.

Usually dig mine after the first frost, we dig them as needed till then.
