Swamper LTB tires- input?

Colorado- near the Divide
We are clearing a trail up-canyon, soon to be 8' wide. I'll be using my CJ-6 with a small trailer to haul "things" out, (wood,slash,crap,etc.). My BFG-M/T's are shot, so I'm looking at the LTB's.
Has anyone tried them? I'll be 90% off road, not worried about the bias-ply thump.
Looking at the 34-10.5, or 35-12.5, 6-ply min.

EDIT- I'm cool with the narrow S.S. in 34-9.5 also.
I'm after skinny, and aggresive. No one here runs that, hence my question.
 
I've been into rock crawling since the late '90's. The LTB's never caught on around here, I don't know anything about them. The SX's are just about indestructible. I ABUSED a set of 35x12.50's for ~7 years on a built & stretched CJ-5, sold it to a friend and he continued to abuse them for another few years. That set of tires has never had a patch or plug.
I built a tube chassis rock crawler in '05. It runs Rockwell 2 1/2 ton front axles (4 wheel steering) and a set of 49-21x20 Super Swamper Irok's. They are great tires also, lots of abuse, no holes.

Couple guys I know have run them and they worked out well. I'd look into the regular TSLs as well.

Cool to hear about a CJ-6 being used still. They weren't made in high numbers and many have succumbed to rust at this point.

Thanks guys, I'll check in later, gotta drop off some wood to the neighbors.
I did check current pricing, whoa- they got a lil pricey since last I shopped for tires.
 
Post up some pics, would love to see it loaded down with wood. :)

Heh, heh...not gonna happen- no pics. If you do a search, "BackwoodsSavage" was kind enough to post some pics. for me.
I believe the title was-"These are not mine" in the Wood Shed. You can see the Jeep in the Pics.
Tire wise, I'm now concentrating on the TSL 34-9.5/ 15. I think the LBT is made overseas, so I'll stay with a domestic tire.;ex
I've run 36's before but don't want to go that big again. +, skinny tires are easier to chain up.

I was going to recommend the Treadwright tires.
A friend at work has a set of older ones and he says they have been great.
I'm going to get a set for our CJ when these wear out.
One of the 4-wheel magazines did a trial of them at Moab and they were impressed.
There's nothing wrong with skinny tires they dig down until they find some traction.
How much lift do you have, they don't really have much over 31" for a 15" rim.

I'm now officially jealous of you.....you have a CJ-6 and you get to drive it offroad in my favorite place Colorado.
Stayed at Mirror Lake near Tincup last October...got snowed on but got out before it got too bad.

jeromehdmc- thanks for the input. I didn't see a size from Treadwright that I'm after, at least in a 15" wheel size.
My "6" is NOT stock, feel free to PM me if you want to know how much money, time, and effort I've spent (wasted) on it. It's a sickness.
That's an open offer, BTW.
