Anyhow in the process of installing another wood burner, this time a barrel stove in my pole barn...

well heres the ? i have, I purchased a 0-6/12 pitch flashing for my roof from lowes, since it was the only one they had in 8" and im cheap and lazy.

after thinking about it, i think my barn might have a 07-12 or maybe a 08-12 pitch roof.. any way to get a decent result using the wrong flashing?

Im tempted to just cut the metal roofing close to the hole size and silicon around the chimney to the roofing if this flashing cant be made work.

any ideas on how to make it work?

heres a pic of my first born and I doing a little cleaning in our woods. you can kinda see the pole barn in the background to get i idea of the pitch.

Thanks guys

That doesn't look like more than 6/12 pitch to me. And yes I suspect even if it was a bit steeper you could get it to work with little to no fuss and no leaks.
But then I never tried using a 0-6/12 flashing piece on a roof with greater pitch. I don;t think the opposite would work well though - if you tried using the 6-12/12 flashing piece on a less than 6/12 pitched roof.

maybe it isnt greater then 6/12 we will see i guess!

what year fzr is that a pic of? love the 89s with the cooler tubes in the upper ferring.

You could say I like the FZR's...I'm lucky enough to own three - two 90's and a 95.
The pic in my profile is from the 90 paint scheme.
I can't help but post some pics...so here they are.
I had three bikes before I had any kids...now I have three bikes and three kids and no time to ride any of the bikes.

Any pics? I have a 30 x 40 metal building (I call it a Barn) amd my neighbor is removing a Through the ceiling kit of ICC and giving it to me and the 2 sections of Class A. So I will be installing some form of a Large Smoke Dragon in there (Double Barrel Stove with single wall to the roof will be the cheapest route).

His roof pitch doesnt match mine. So I subscribed to this thread last week to get some ideas.

(BTW- Thats a priceless pic of your daughter. As close as she is to you, she really loves her Daddy :))

Thanks

i will try to get some pics, in a rush to beat the snow and have quite a mess in the barn!
