I noticed that Gamma has a name for her stove. How about the rest of you? Chime in- who dat stove?

With a name like begreen, and your previous avatar, I figured something more Ent-ish than "the stove."

When needed, I call mine POS.

My wife calls mine "the Beast." She has grown to love it, though (except for the wood chips all over the hearth and floor--lol).

Well I have called it the gentle giant in my sig, but we just know it as the stove. We don't name our cars either.

Flaming Roid. We've just met but hope to have a great long run.

Congrats on the new BK!

When I finish naming all the chickens. Maybe then. Probably not.

The old Sierra was Old Brownie so the 30-NC that replaced it is Brownie. Or on some nights "That &^%*#(@ stove!".

Even though she hasn't verbalized it, we are fairly certain that the cat has named the stove the "magical big black heat machine." If we are sitting in the other room, and see that the cat has left her perch watching the unit chew through wood and decides to join us, we joke about it being time to load it back up again.

I look forward to the heating season, mainly because the "magical big black heat machine" occupies the majority of the overly affectionate heat whore cat's time.

As a joke, I suggested we name the new Keystone "Keith Stone". I didn't even get an answer, just the look (not the good one).

Oh yeah. The Lopi Liberty in the house is lovingly called "The Lopi Liberty in the House", and the Century stove in the shop is affectionately referred to as "The Shop Stove". Yes, I'm a hopeless romantic. :p
