A closest friend of the family has the Elite 44 and he really likes it!

Here it is. All installed and ready to go. I can't wait for the first burn!

Thats one of my favorite stoves in the looks dept, let us know how it heats this winter, do you have plenty of dry wood?

Thanks. I have about 4 face cords of white oak. Last checked with the moisture meter and most samples were under 20%. Hopefully burnable in a couple months. I have a large stack of white birch and pine too, fully seasoned for the shoulders.

Snowed in here and thought I'd provide a quick update. I've been burning pine and birch (shoulder season), white oak, and biobricks. While I cannot heat my house solely with the insert, I did get good news from the rep at my oil company. He said our consumption is down by 34%! That's all I need to hear.
Also we love the warmth in our family room. It was NOT a cozy room last year without the insert. Very happy with our purchase. Stay warm.
