Congrats on the new stove! I'm curious to see and hear about your experience with the Cumberland. I installed a new stove back in April and the Cumberland you went with was the runner up behind the Harman P61A that I ultimately decided on. In the end it came down to the fact that the Cumberland dealer was located about an hour from my house and didn't seem to know a lot about the stove itself when I asked questions about it. Also, the Harman i installed was purchased and installed by the same dealer where I buy my pellets and so I'm hoping I'll receive excellent follow-up service due to my having known this guy for years and having been a steady customer since 2001. He's also fifteen minutes from my house so much closer regarding service calls should I need them.

Please post some photos and tell us how it's working once you get that baby installed....You're going to love sticking it to the oil man.

I will definitely post pictures when we get it installed and let everyone know how it is working. We will be going this afternoon to see if he has one in stock and set up the install.

I am sure that I could do the install myself but with this being our first stove and I how finicky warranties and home owners insurance can be, I did not want to attempt it. I know that the first question would be in the event that something goes wrong is "did you do the install yourself?"! I would much rather the dealer do it and I don't have to worry about it.

I think it's a good move having the dealer install it....In my opinion, for the $300 bucks you mentioned, it's worth the piece of mind knowing it's done right and to company specs. Not to mention the warranty issues. Good luck with everything.

Sorry I am a bit late to this but Harman has a $100.00 off coupon that would have only put you about $110.00 difference in the price. I bought a P43 and had limited use as I bought it when the season was almost over, looking forward to using it this winter.
