Go Indiana! (Maybe it was my 441 stock with 20 inch bar full comp) ;)

I wish there was a way to send that guy something to reward him for at least trying. I'd love to send him a "thank-you for being decent" email, but that would be weird.

My uncle lost a new set of pings one time with 3k in cash in it. He put an ad in the Muncie newpaper and got it back the next day. (No tailgate on his ford truck) lol He got very lucky and gave the guy 10 percent finder fee 400.00 bucks.

I think the he is including the value of the clubs.

Hmm, of course...makes perfect sense. Disregard my last transmission. Out.

There are good folks out there...hard to find sometimes thou. I found a large roll of money and it had a snoopy rubber band around it. I told the place I worked to give my number to anyone who asked about it. Got a call that night from a frantic woman who described the rubber band and I took the money to her(not just the rubber band...shame on you people...ha) She was a college kid and it was her first two months rent...

It says a lot when we are suprised when someone does the right thing.

When I saw this thread I thought it was an old thread brought back to life. Seems maybe a year ago this same thing happened and it seems the ad was very similar if not exact! There are some good people on this earth.

well, I was gonna say, no tailgate on a beater truck is probably a wild thing, but then you got people like Jay driving around in a beater that's worth half (at best) of what their good saw is.

I'm gonna shoot for the stars and send the guy an email saying about how distraught I am that my 880 fell out of my truck.

His was no beater though.(Duallys) He pulled fifth wheels with is and the fords of those years just didnt work right. He has now switch to GM. He was pulling back in the 70's with one tons and 50's and cragiers on the back. Most thought he was trying to make a hot rod. lol Oh btw you can afford a lot more with out a high dollar monthly truck and insrance and plates....Most will pay 6000-10000 a year for a nice truck. Not counting fuel! ;) I have managed to no loans at all. My bill are insurane, plates, fuel, eletric, nat gas and a house payment and food. (We canned over 500 qts this year out of the garden):) Thank God....Oh and Band fees lol
