What, they don't have a microwave oven at your new job? !!!

Have fun tomorrow Dixie. Looks like lunch might be the highlight.
I just HAD to open this thread right before bed. DOH!
Now, I'll be dreaming of food all night.;)

I'd enjoy the recipe more if it included the calorie break down. Sounds tasty, though.

Not for me....first day of work I'd be nervous, I would need something bland, woudln't want to start off on the wrong fart!

Actually, I'll probably nuke the chicken parm I made on Sunday, then froze ;)

But I AM going to make that sammich, might be for dinner though.

They've got an entire kitchen set up, complete with stove, lucky me !!

Yeah, where I worked they had entire kitchen set ups, as well. Oh , and they were completely staffed. (We called them galleys). >>

LOL !! I understand galleys.... my Uncle was a missile mechanic on the USS Hancock in the early 70's (retired CPO). Got his arm blown up when a missile exploded, spent alot of time in sick bay.

Navy family here ;)

Navy family here too. Then I married a navy guy ;hm

Can't wait to hear about the new job Eileen!

!

It must have been one of those guys with the whites on prancing around Newport. I see them on the beach running back and forth at high speed and then dropping and doing 100 push ups. That's warm up for the real exercise.

...Then I married a navy guy...

Well, c'mon, you're too smart to do the transference thing. Whatever problems this guy had were his own...not "the Navy's". I have plenty of my own problems that make me tough to live with...not a one of them can be attributed to the Navy. I have a host of other things to blame. ;lol

My friends and I had a strict rule about never dating squids. Mine was out of the navy when I met him and painting boats down at Hood yachts.

@fossil we had a really good decade, so maybe that was the navy influence :p

I used to work in the boat yard and nanny for the Hood family when they had extended races like on Block Island.
I was one of about 3 gals in the whole yard, so I had a lot of opportunities ::-)
In the end I chose my ex over the captain of Ted Hood Sr.'s boat. He wanted me to crew with him and spend the winter on the boat in Antigua. I chose wrong <>
