I decided to try to move one of my tree stands today and we always use 2-way radios. I let the wife know when I am about to go up a tree and again when I am strapped in tightly. Then again when I get back on tera firma.

So, today I also took the chain saw as there was some stuff I had to cut so as to be able to see and shoot. When I got ready to go up, the radio was missing. Search as I might, it stayed hidden. So, back to the house I go on the atv. Wife laughed. I told her to give me time to get back then talk every now and then on the radio until I found it. It worked but made me a bit red faced.

Was this a senior moment?

Hey Dennis, don't feel bad, I get into those type of conundrums quite frequently.................It's all good!

Five years ago I bought a set of three of them. In the first week I lost one. Found it last Tuesday.

Last year I was mowing my lawn with the zero turn and when I finished I had my Blackberry case with no Blackberry in it. After a thorough search of the lawn I found my phone on the edge of the seat on the mower.

I have really enjoyed using my "new" five foot pry bar. Bought it in 1985, lost it in the woods in 1987 and found it last Spring. I get new/old presents all of the time.

Cell phone fell out of my jacket pocket yesterday, but I didn't know it. I checked everywhere I could think of and no luck. On the way home I called my son from the car and it worked, so now I knew the phone was somewhere in the car. But I couldn't find it because the bluetooth in the car was picking up the call and answering it. Got to a parking lot, turned off the car and had my son call me. The phone rang and rang and eventually I found it, wedged down between the seat and the console. Ain't tech great?

had a similar situation, only when I found mine it had made a pass thru the blades.
no screen left but it worked still

Ok how about this one....I am leaving for Nashville Sunday for training. I decide to get all my stuff together today, flight info, hotel reservations etc.... Quess what? I never made the #$%#@! hotel reservations and now it seems my only choice is to share a room with another guy who is going with me. Luckily it's my nephew and he is going to let me.

This is the reason we have extras of some tools and other small items. Ah well, it's a good thing in case one of them breaks... Mislaid something, got another and then found the lost one. Heheh.

Typical day for me is to lose/forget my phone or keys and then after looking around for awhile I realize that I forgot to put my glasses on,find them and forget what I was looking for in the first place!:)

Forgetting to put my glasses on is never an issue . . . if I'm not wearing them everything is out of focus unless it's three inches from my nose.

My BIL went back into a convenience store and asked everyone in the store if they had seen his glasses that he had just left there and then he got mad because everyone looked at him funny.......His glasses were on his head!

Oh yes Sue. That has happened! I had the wife and sons also looking. It took about 20 minutes or maybe a half hour looking and I don't know why but suddenly they were in my hand! I must have picked them up but just kept looking. Naturally I hollered at the family that I had finally found them. Of course they asked where. Well, I was in the basement at the time so simply told them I found them on the steps.... They will never know...
