Hello

I just picked up an Archgard Optima PS1. Looks good so far.
Had to order a new hopper lid switch from Newark (The big Electronics outfit) It is just a roller switch, the Local Radio Shack still sells one but it is way to small!

Anyway, I am looking for a plastic hopper lid handle. I tried a Hudson River but too big.
The hole is 1-3/16 wide by 3-1/2 inches long. Can someone measure their Enviro or Magnum BabyCountrside please? I am trying to buy a similar one if the size is close.

The Magnum BabyContrySide hole is:
Opening is 5in X 1.25in

Don,

I knew I forgot something this morning.

The one from my HR stove won't work as it is too long and too wide.

Thanks for checking Smokey. I hope one of the other brands is closer.

I just painted a two drawer filing cabinet and the handles looked just like that. Plastic that popped into a hole in the sheet metal. Not sure if that helps you any.

Thanks, Some handles pop in and some handle are 2 pieces that screws together from the inside. Not sure what the original was.
Good idea, I will check into it. Can you tell me the size of the hole in your file cabinet for the handle?

You did give me an idea and I just did some research.
The Technical Term is called a Flush Pull. Sounds like a toilet pull chain! LOL

Anyway
Something like these especially the brushed nickel would be cool!
However they are not tapered for a horizontal hopper lid. They are made for vertical Mtg and sliding.

Boats have horizontal flush pulls!

Now I am getting close! If Perko this was in Nickel!

Looks like the particular handle on my cabinet is too big. Here are some photos I took of a cabinet that I haven't painted dark green yet.

Hello Dtaylor

Thanks so much for measuring and the pics. It is pretty close! I will find out what the others are and then pick the closest one. Thanks again!

Hello

Problem Resolved. I ordered the Hopper Lid Handle from Archgard for $16.00 plus shipping.

I called Archgard and asked for Inside Sales and talked to Laurie.
She said the Archgard Optima PS-1 pellet stove is still in production.
Earlier production runs had issues and they are now all resolved! ! !
If you have an issue with an earlier model then call Archgard and ask for tech support and talk to Gregg!

Don, did you refurb this unit? I was really looking forward to an in depth install and pics of the burn pot, heat exchange system, and motors/blowers.

They seem like solid units. Rick and Kathy talk about theres a lot.

Hi Dexter
Still working on it. I have to pull the auger out tomorrow. I started a fire but the pellets do not feed. So far I am very impressed! I just painted the firebox and it looks super! As soon as it works, I have someone coming over for it! I cannot refurb these stoves fast enough!
