a 49-TRCPM (Englander 10-CPM) from AMFM Energy, three tons of pellets and pocket the rest.

P-43

Classic Bay 1200

Drolet Eco 65

Engalnder 25-EP, PAH, or 10 CPM (AMFM)

Is this budget for the stove only? Or is venting and a hearth pad needed?

Ok... Then I retract

P-43 or P-61a

Classic Bay

Drolet Eco 65 or Enerzone Euromax

All of these are Large units that will do the job easily. But you didn't mention how well insulated. A P-68 wont heat 1,000 sq ft, of it has a 8 ft hole in the wall. ;)

To get a little closer to what your looking for? Are you looking for whole house heating? Is this a Ranch, split level, etc? Are you going to heat from the basement? I can make expensive decisions for you all day. But knowing what you have will better help choose a unit.

So, tell us what you have. Type of house. Insulation. Windows. Are you looking to use it exclusively? What do you have now for heating? How much do you spend?? These will help to make an educated guess. Other than throwing a P-61a in that motha ;)

It is a 1400 sq ft cape that currently has an oil heat it was built in the 50s and I just blew in about $500 worth of insulation the stove will be located in the living room I would like to use the oil as little as possible. I just bought the house in September and have not turned the heat on at all this year so I have no idea what the heating costs will be but at $3.69/gal I'm not looking forward to it my last house had natural gas and only cost me about $1200 a year for heat and hot water.

Ive seen a few newer big Harmans on craigslist in the 2k range. I would take one of those and invest the rest in sam adams, pot roast and flat iron steaks.

FIRE IN THE HOLE. Basically how I got my two pc45s. Let my fingers do the walking through various second hand sites etc.

A harman 300i insert. If i didnt have a fireplace to put it in Id build one.

PC45 Harman. Burns anything and won't let you down.

Love my Enviro M55 Cast Free Standing.
Cost me $3k last November.

Great stove, and looks good too. ==c

It has to heat a 1400 sq ft house in New Hampshire.

Hello

I would get a Hudson River Kinderhook and pocket the rest! It has a large ash pan and a large hopper!
