I haven't been out there in way too long! So beautiful there. I can't believe they still let you drive on the beach. I was last on the beach in 2001,

You can still go out there but your at the mercy of the Piping Plovers. They will shut a good portion down in late June through early August due to hatchlings. I've been going out there since I was born and now my kids love it.
 
We watched the video about the Piping Plovers when we got the oversand permit.
 
No. I sold it in 2008. It was a great truck, but I nearly totaled it in '06 when a teenager made a left turn in my path. After the repairs it was never the same. It had only 77,000 miles on it when I sold it.
