help with a tree id - possible scrounge

It is hard to say from the pictures, but I'd scrounge any tree that is easy to reach.

Don't know if you have Chestnut Oaks where you live- This is a chestnut Oak and a leaf here in Virgina
 
I don't really think yours is the same but looks close - hard to tell with the picture of bark so close

its burnable....and free....it doesn't matter "just do it".....;lol

I can't see the leaves or terminal bud well enough to id. The terminal bud will be at an angle. The leaf will also be rough feeling when you rub it.
