Getting after it NYL.

Is that one of those kinetic DR splitters?

I have no choice especially after all the trees that came down in my neck of the woods.
It's a dr rapid fire splitter it's amazing how fast it splits.

Starting to add up.
Gonna make some very nice stacks ;)

Nice work NYLife, how do you like the splitter?

Thanks . The splitter works like a speeding bullet. I must of split all that wood in a hour 1/2 by myself.
Our local dealer had one but no hitch on it for a two inch ball.

Is that tarp there under the wood to protect the lawn, or to make sure you don't lose one single morsel of those BTU's? ;lol;)

Nice looking heap of wood, looks like the little speed splitter worked A-OK for ya. Keep us posted as to how that splitter does with the bigger stuff, like oak and elm crotches and such...

To keep the wood from getting wet from the grass as I didn't get a chance to stack it

I don't think I should run into any issues with the big stuff like oak and so on. I think it will slice thru suckers

Those will split anything you can get up on the table, everyone I know with one of those makes their splits smaller, must be so much fun you can stop splitting ;lol

i came close to getting a dr splitter. decided for a 27 ton instead. really loved the add for it though. used two guys to split a pile of wood, each splitting for awhile then switching splitters. impressive to say the least.

I've never seen a DR splitter...looks lighter than the typical 25-27 ton versions...but...it appears to be stuck in the horizontal position...can't sit on a crate and split that way.

It's light and works like a 34 ton and does the job faster then any splitter out there. It has a great Subaru engine

That one is debatable... In certain woods it is faster just like splitting by hand is faster in certain woods and certain conditions.....but by no means all.

Savage till I see it for my own eyes I have to stick with it. My buddy thought he could split more wood with his 34 ton splitter. We used the same mixed woods. Oak , pine, maple and by the time he finished 1 I was already on my 4th

Those speed splitters sure would be fun in some wood, but not the huge rounds we get alot of times. I'd love to have one for the smaller stuff, I just can justify the price of it. My 22 ton vertical/horizontal works fine for my needs. I'd hate to try splitting those big ones on that speed splitter.....

The round I did the other day of that evergreen was about that big and it was knotty and still had no problem with it. What's good about it also is the tray
