Walked Murph at 5:30, hit the line ( 2 blocks down on Route 25) at 5:45 AM. Took half an hour, but the truck is full, just in time for the Noreaster tomorrow

No sign of rising prices, really

Glad you got 'er done. I imagine there are lots and lots of people all over the place trying hard in whatever way they can to get you folks back on your feet. The challenges are daunting, indeed. Sandy was an historically destructive storm. <>

Got lucky today on Flanders Rd. this afternoon. Pulled right in no wait, felt like I hit the lotto!!!

Yep, I woulda felt that way, too. If I were closer to Riverhead, I'd have done the same thing.

Good for you !

I hate waiting in line at the gas pump...have to try and get in a line where the gas filler is on the same side as the others in line.

Glad you got some gas....

Glad you got the gas, sorry you had to wait! Anyone else remember the gas rationing lines in the 70's...If I remember correctly it was odd number (last digit on license plate) one day then even number the next day.

Yes , your are correct, odd even day. I was there for that. At one point if you had a half a tank you weren't even allowed to get gas. Imagine if they imposed something like that now.

Never had a problem in the 70's around here. Never remember any line-ups either.

damn shame...and to think gas shortages and gas prices are all a scam perpetrated on us all...

They are thinking about odd/even here.

Yep, ES, $3.89...it's higher at other stations.

prolly a better idea just to ride a horse anyways...better milage/gallon.

Odd/even plate numbers started today at 5 am. $4.19 a gallon out here.
