Hello

I finally covered up the insulation so it would not get puctured. Now I am putting up shelves. Looking for ideas. I just threw up 2 - 6 foot Pine boards and a wire basket. Each board has 1 coat of oil based Minwax Ipswich Pine stain and 3 coats of clear semi-gloss polyurethane See pic below.

What kind of shelves do you have and what do you store or have on them?

Thanks

These are rough sawn 2X6's...pretty sturdy, they have proven to hold women dancing on them!

Nice! Are they supported in front or just nailed to the posts?

I have some home-made cantilever shelves that I made out of some old garage door rails. They don't have a "top" just some pegs that stick out of the wall. I use them for pipes and boards and long stuff. Just angle them slightly up if you want to store pipes on them.

I also have some home-made free-standing shelves. They are free-standing so I can re-arrange or take with if I ever move.

Sorry, no pics.

I think it's tradition to build shelves for a shed from all your leftovers. I hung them from my collar ties so I could keep the floor clear.

Pallet racking makes great shelves.
