I would be getting on AC and make him split em down to size!:) And while he is at it have him drop me off a load or 2!;)

Gary

Well it is my fault they where so big ;lol. I was asked if I wanted them smaller and said no because I had a splitter at home and could finish them off there.

Nice job Pallet Pete, some nice firewood you have in the Beech. The Beech makes that needle move real quick on the thermometer, my wife likes Beech firewood the best.

Thanks zap ! I have not burned to much Beech the last few years so the other night because I missed the light show I dug for 20 minutes to find a dry piece. It really burns great we had forgotten how beautiful a light show it puts on. Usually I won't cut them because around me they are huge and hollow kinda scares me. More than once I have had them fall 1/4 the way through with the saw lol. It is a nice treat !

It works well that way usually however this time I had to take it off the pallets by the fence split it throw in the bed then go to the bins and unload lol. You are right though usually I come home with a load split it off the bed and put it in the bin. Saves a lot of energy !

Thanks guys ! That little splitter has proved to be a little beast it goes through some pretty tuff stuff. Plus no splitting table needed when you have a tailgate. ;)
