In The Woods
I'm not sure how good both of these are (cherry & red maple?) but it's just off the main trail so I'll check them out in the next couple of weeks.

We had a dusting tonight but I'll try before the first big snow. I still have another load or two of red maple & sugar maple that needs out of the woods before I start cutting again.

Is that a today picture?
I see green leaves & ferns, warm fall eh?

No, it's from 10-14-2012. I went out checking the trails later in the day, I never went back to get it.

Man that rhino will go right over those logs...maybe it will even take off a little bark for you in the process!!

I love finding good stuff when clearing trails, especially when I have the means to actually transport it back home (which is not often the case, not much wood fits in the back of a lifted jeep cherokee loaded with tools, spare parts, and camping gear.

Not much good stuff down after four years of grabbing all the downed wood, time to look for the topped off trees.
