It was time to get some more wood so I cut down a largeish pine and a maple. Got the first two pieces of pine and a few sticks of maple, I think there's one or two more loads left. This pushed the limits on ms250, should have brought my ms310 for this. Hauled the logs out of the woods with the 863 bobcat with grapple bucket, this should keep me busy bucking and splitting.

That MS 025 is a great saw! Nice set up you have there!

Nice work! I've dropped and taken a few big Doug Firs w/my MS250. But I sure like my MS362 a LOT more... ;) Ditto on that trailer; nice rig.

Awesome logs and I agree about the trailer.

Spent this weekend trying to figure out what I want more, an 18 foot car hauler or a dump trailer. Yours looks to be a cross between the two. Just a little too high for a car hauler for my liking. Was thinking about going with a tilt car hauler and then fabricating some walls to drop into the stake pockets if I ever want to use it as a dump trailer. Figure a box 7' x 10' maybe 2 to 3 feet high would work. Did you have that trailer custom built?

Wow nice haul there!
Where do I sign up for some?

The trailer was customer built to my specs for work. It is high for most things but its primary use is to hauler palletized freight from the airport. I had the shop build in the beaver tail and some heavy duty ramps so we can move our forklift, pickup rental scissor lifts and such.

Dump trailers are very nice but you pay for it in the weight of the trailer, almost double. I have really wanted to build a trailer with a grapple loader but I just don’t see it getting used that much.

Nice haul. You guys sure grow em big out west. What kind of maple is that? Big leaf ? Wonder how the btu's compare to eastern hard maple.

Not sure what kind, haven't burned any of it yet, though i did smack that cr*p out of a mapple with the pine so i will take some of it too. Most of the year Pine is great around here.

That is amazing that you cut those with a 250!

32", it wasn't pretty but it worked.

Yeah, I was shocked. Reminded me of my dad's McCullochs straining to cut down the big trees when I was younger.

Was that the old gear driven saws? Those things were super heavy.
