My wife bought me a can't hook... I think I'll keep her!

...my wife, that is...

Anyway, look what my wife picked up at a barn sale - an old can't hook. She didn't know what it was but when the guy told her it was an old tool used for rolling logs, etc., she knew I'd be into it. It's pretty old and a little loose, but I'm anxious to give it a go! (Just to clarify, I'm referring to the can't hook here... ;) ) And, I'm thinking it's well worth the $2.00 (Yup, two bucks) she paid for it.

I'll have to treat her to a night out! (Now I'm referring to my wife...)

Man - I am glad that you clarified what you were talking about. Your post could have read very differently. Good on your wife for picking up the tool.

We think too much alike... ;)

So you were thinking about a bacon wrapped stick of butter being deep fried, too? Weird.

Never heard it described quite like that... ::-)

AJ, you will love that cant hook. I'll offer you $10 for it right now. Can't beat an investment that returns money like that. Deal?

I'll give you $12!

Good deal! We drove all the way to Northern Tool the other day looking for one of those, closest we could find there was a "peavey" which is close but not quite, and it cost like $30 on sale!

Good deal on that tool AJ. That turned into an interesting thread. ;lol

That is a good deal for sure. I'd have probably bough it even though I much prefer the cant hook. Most places want $30 just to ship one.

Dennis you'll be financing my retirement with returns like that! ;)

Sweet! Now you will wonder how you ever got along before without one (can't hook that is).
