So the other day my dad came by and gave me a few pairs of gloves he picked up on sale at ace hardware some time ago. He knows i go through them..always need a new pair. I saw orange and was excited...until i saw the stihl logo.

The question is, can i use these gloves if i have a husqvarna saw?

Yeah, you can use them.....but don't be pissed off if that Husky gives you a fit when you go to start it!

May want to put the gloves on AFTER you get it running! ;)

Nope sorry, you're gonna hafta go buy a Stihl.:) A C

sounds like it's time for him to explain this dilemna to the wife......let us know how it goes. Watch out for that left hook....:p
Hehehehe, that thar's funny.

I have cut wood a few days while owning these gloves...i used my duct taped, holes in the fingers pairs instead. These are currently on "fancy" duty. I use them to bring a few pieces into the house or to refill the kindling bucket. I kind of like them!

Perhaps I should look at a new saw, maybe something a little larger??? (please...please wife...don't read this...please)

Send 'em to me and I'll find out for ya. Gratis.

Thanks for the offer...but they are growing on me. Perhaps if I owned one of each saw...it would be fine!

I think it's a good reminder of what your missing?

Wife got me a Stihl file guide kit for Christmas, tried it on the Jonsey and works well enough but probably would do better on a Stihl saw. Now there is a 066 with a 20" and 24" bar for sale locally on Craigs List....hmmmmm!

hmmm can't hurt to take a look at the saw??? My problem is, if I head out to a Craigslist hunt, most of the time I come home with the prize....but I am learning with age to say no thanks.
