You looking at buying the stove?

The price seems right if it's in good shape.

First glance at the pic makes me wonder how hot it's been run, as the color of the chimney pipe near the stove and parts of the stove top seems to be a bit lighter in appearance.

First thing, before wasting gas to look at it, is to figure out if it is going to be the right sized stove for what you are looking to heat / your goals (full time burner, part time, supplemental, etc).

If it meets those requirements, then it's time to give it a very good look over looking for signs of warpage w/ a straight edge externally, looking for broken welds inside and out, cracks, worn burn tubes, cracked bricks, etc.

I'm not familiar with this stove but a guess would be a around a 2 cubic foot firebox maybe? Probably rated for up to 1500ft? Hopefully someone else will have more specifics.

I think it may be the right size, to heat my 1300ft full time, that's first thing I was trying to determine.

How do I tell if the burn tubes are worn ?

I don't know if that stove uses SS tubes or some different material for secondary combustion, so a visual is the best I can tell you. Look for cracking/sagging/deterioration, etc.

Sorry I can't say more, never looked into the mouth of that particular animal.

Maybe it would be good to just describe the stove or copy/paste the description and picture. craigslist ads are often ephemeral and we end up seeing nothing if the thread is revisited in a week. That makes the whole thread kind of pointless. Also, by posting the ad you just upped your competition if you are interested in the stove.

I can't argue with any of that, will do. Thanks for pointing it out
