Brother Bart,

What is rule #1?

And 3 and higher should be enlightening.

If you put a full load of fresh wood on top of a hot coal bed in a stove over 400 degrees it will give you pause to reflect and a very interesting next hour or two in your house.

Hell, I don't touch a split without putting gloves on. With the amount of wood I'm moving my hands become a painful, cracked, and dried out mess by the end of the winter without gloves.

Yeah the future wife says I lost my boyish hands and now they are like lumber jack hands! LOL

Been there...and was glad the stove is right by the sliding doors.

Coconut oil is good for dry skin and it doesn't have a girly smell to it. Actually I don't think it smells like anything really.

I think the biggest problem was when I realized it wouldn't fit with everything else in there I kept trying to make it fit. I was using the poker to try and shift logs and coals around finally had to give up and make the smoking smoldering run. I guess it was the competitiveness in me trying to win against an object that cant be beaten.

Haul wood with your feet. Problem solved. Post the video when you try it.
