Do you visit other forums for information on saws, finding a wood supply, cutting, hauling and burning wood? I thought it would be nice to share this type of information.
Thanks
Tom

Not to be dis-loyal to hearth.com

but I have noticed a few of the "wood" guys are also members at arboristsite.com and hang out in the firewood/stove forum...

To paraphrase a few politicians, I lurk but I don't post. (Or was it "I didn't inhale."?)

AS, mytractorforum.com, Dodge Ram Forum those are about it relating to hearth and related hobbies. Spend most of my time, here, though. We are the best for one stop shopping in my experience.

I dabble on MyTractorForum.com and occasionally read an AS thread. A thread is read here and there elsewhere but hearth.com is all I really have time for. And I enjoy spending a good bit of time here.

I spend a lot of time on Arboristsite. Amazing resource for all things chainsaw.

I go where ever Google takes me when searching on a topic, so I read lots of information at other sites, but here, and at the continuouswave.com - Boston Whaler site are the only places I have posted recently.

I cruise through Smokingmeatsforums.com when looking for advice on making sausage and other smoked meats

I made sausage for the first time today. It was a simple breakfast sausage, but it's a start. I'm already looking for the next experiment.

I did the same thing along with jerky to start. Then moved to Italian sausage and kielbasi, and on to smoked summer sausage. I love making anything like that. Even better when I give some to a friend and see their face light up when they taste it.

I belong to AS, also MapleTrader.com (as I do some sugaring in the springtime), but this is my primary forum site. I spend too much damm time on this site to pizz the wife off as it is, if I kept up with the other sites I'd certainly be in the dog house!

Lumberjocks- to see what people have going on for wood projects.

This place seems to cover a lot of the bases.

I'm also a member of Breaktime Classic (construction and woodworking topics) and The Hull Truth (boating) but I'm mostly a lurker on all of these sites and contribute only occasionally.

iforgeiron.com is the metalworker's version of this place. The two best forums in the omniverse.

Besides here, I mainly post on Arboristsite, TheGarageJournal (most of you would like I think), and Dodgetalk. Though I do belong to some other forums I'm rather inactive (lurker) on them.

here and ar15.com. between the two sites, most anything can be found.

Garagejournal.com is a great site. I also frequent a few toyota tacoma forums.

I go to a bunch of boards that relate to my vehicles, hobbies and interests.
I spend a good amount of time on them and I like to surround myself with people that are into the same things.

My wife says that boards are my facebook! Hehe

Try forumsforums.com .Not a bad place to spend a few hours .

Yeah I've been holding back from signing up on that one but I do lurk there. Hehe
A couple weekends back I spent a whole day with a group of Snocat guys from that forum up in the snow.
They keep trying to get me to sign up there.
